When the world was young by Hagge When the world was young by Hagge
No, I'm not happy with it (does this sound like a familiar snivel?) but if I work on it again, I'll ruin it!

There's another (pt. 2) in the wings, and if it turns out better, it will definitely replace this one.

Thanks! I was concerned that there would be too much of a delineation between the light and dark areas.

I think I see what you mean... It's absolutely gorgeous, the lighting is soft and perfect--but it does stand a little behind some of your other work. Something indescribable... Maybe your mood?

I really like it. I think the cheek section is too far forward (makes that spot in the neck look goofy too) and the head seems a little long. I still like it though and the background is awesome. :D

Well, thank you. :) And I really do appreciate the helpful comments. Sometimes ya work on something for so long, you don't really "see" it after a while. :O :D

Yeah, I know how that is! Sometimes you can't figure out quite what's wrong. Sometimes all you can see is everything that's wrong, and then it's nice to hear what people actually like about it. :D

It is still quite nice. I wish I got the hang of my old tablet, though it admittedly isn't a very good one. That, and I have trouble looking at a screen and drawing with a pen...

Oh thanks. :)
Eventually I want to get an updated version of Painter, too...
What kind of tablet, Intuos?

I don't know; it's back at home at the moment. I know the pen isn't as sensitive as I would like it. I draw with a light touch, and I had to press too hard to get it to register. >_<

Beautiful. I love the content... how a magical thing like a unicorn can look gloomy, but still gorgeous and elegant. Beautiful.
