FINALLY! (and my apologies to Kid-Apocalypse) This was a challenge issued in response to a journal by

, said challenge being: "Draw something serious or dark while listening to ska music" which is not a genre of music I listen to, so it really was a challenge!

It was actually near completion some time ago, except other projects suddenly took precedence, which were, unfortunately, far less fun.

And as the title suggests, it is also #89 on the 100 Theme Challenge, "Through the Fire"

Thanks...the eye was based on two examples, and one of them was my own from a biking accident a few years back.

Uhm...more like "tire slip side-ways on ice". Never try to turn on ice when you're on a bike.

But here, the bike's not QUITE my only mode of transport...I don't have a license.
