I love how you suggest sunrise with the gold light off the peaks, but the moon there too fills that blank sky nicely. And the wind that blows the powder-snow off the peak--nice.

Yeah... maybe it's 'cause I live on land so flat the only hills are old landfills and places where they deliberately built up the land, but I LOVE mountains. And oceans, too.

Oo, I'm not such an ocean person...don't ask why, but I'm terrified of overly deep water, and the sea triggers it rather badly...never had a close drowning, never fell in deep water, so I'm not sure where it came from, but there it is...
Mountains on the other hand.......:dance:

Understandable.

I love mountains, partially because I don't get altitude sickness. I went up Pike's Peak once, and my family all sat down and my dad pulled out his inhaler, but i was fine. Go figure.
