Rokovi by Hagge Rokovi by Hagge
Based on a description of Cei Ellem's faes...for her contest. To me, a wild fae wouldn't be hindered by much clothing...but then...what do I know? : )

You won second place! Congratulations!

What can I say? I love the gloves and the sense of energy and power in this picture.

xP No one knows any real thing about faeries because no one's ever really seen them (except maybe Arthur Conan Doyle...), so they could walk on their hands if you wanted to.
This is really great! I love your neato painterly style (I saw Chino too but I'm being lazy and only doing one comment =/), and the sense of movement in this is really neat ^^ He looks a lot like what I saw in my head when I read the contest. I might've put a but more detail into the blade in his hand, maybe to make it stand out more, but it looks alright as is. Really nice :3

Thank you. You're right. Historically, weren't alot of 'fairies' actually as big as humans?
I don't remember...
Yeah, I could have done more for the blade, but I'm afraid I'm 'weaponly challenged' at this point in time...=) Maybe for my next picture that includes a proper weapon...

Historically, no one's seen a faerie xP So they can be/do whatever you want. That's why I love the fantasy genre. Despite what some random LotR roleplayers will try and tell you, it's all totally open to your interpretation. Everything is what you decide to shape it into.
And yeah I have some problems with weapons too xD Cant wait to see more from you!
