One spring day by Hagge One spring day by Hagge
A thank you card for someone kind enough to supply tickets to a short boat trip.
It was going to be a bear fishing, but I just couldn't get the feel for it, so we'll pretend it's already been fishing and is heading for the salad bar.

Gorgeous! I love how light is portrayed in this... looks like a stormy day.

To me, anyway, stormy days have more character. And thank you.

As ever, the colours are breathtaking. And it's a perfect illustration for your purpose too.

Ahh...should you ever find the time, a boat trip to Tracy Arms would likely catch your fancy. I just hope I find the time to do it. :)
Thank you, by the way. :)

Definitely. I just did a search for it and the first website I found had the term "adventure bound" in it.

But of course!

IF you go, make sure you have plenty of room on your camera. :)

 We've been talking about camera-space a lot. Especially since my sister's baby was born. So many pictures. :giggle:

 She's two weeks old now. She had a baby shower yesterday, and I think she slept through the whole thing.

I envy babies that...they're able to do everything we wish we could do at some social functions sometimes.

Wonderful stuff  - always love how you compose these 'grand scale' landscapes. And, yes, I can tell the bear has already been fishing and is now trying to work out which kind of dressing to select at the salad bar. Its all in the tilt of its head. ;)

woooow awesome *__* it has the "thing" about it, Terry Isaac's paintings have, totally and utterly awesome. I love the arrangement of the mountains and the bear, it doesn't look as if it was placed "forcefully" in the surrounding but actually being part of it.

Wow! This is beautiful ^_^
I love the contrast, we see bears as such huge animals, and the mountains behind him really puts it into perspective ^_^.
The darks and lights are wonderful and I like the way the mountains look.
Very beautiful, and a refreshing piece, after cooking outside in the heat ;p
