Sometimes, I use textures in my art (digital art) and I used a particular texture that had unexpected results. I was trying for a particular concept, and when I used the texture, a whole new concept opened up that seemed better than the original, quite by accident, so I went with it. It changed the picture and the color palette through the whole thing. That's what happens when you experiment, sometimes.
I like owls too. I have another owl coming up, later. Thank you for the fave by the way.
I don´t know why I placed it under Photomanipulations. I removed the favorite and placed it under Digital Masterpieces now I usually check what they are (because sometimes you can´t really tell if there´s a mixture of techniques... so I normally store them under the right category). Let´s say that I was SO blinded by it´s beauty that I never checked ?
So that was the accident !!! That´s extremely cool (but the only thing I can paint are walls, so that won´t happen to me)
You do like owls, too ? Check these when and if you want: This one has an amazing story behind (my comments) [link] And this one is part of my second photomanipulation (I am just beginning, so be nice ) [link]
I will add you to my watch. I can´t miss owls !! And I like when I find gentle people around here. Nice to meet you!
Aw, thanks. Y'know when I come up with a combination of things, I don't write anything down, and I have to go experiment again. But most of the fun also comes with just filling in the detail.
By the way, thanks for faving it.
The sheer scale of detail portrayed within this picture is breathtaking, making me wonder how anyone can have so much patience.
You can almost feel the wind running through the leaves of the tree, smell the unique scent that seems to haunt forests at night, hear the eternal stillness, the silence, save for the incessant chirping of crickets and other insects.
Your attention is instantly drawn to the beautiful owl perched upon the tree, the ultimate symbol of wisdom(even though owls are actually quite stupid xD) He seems to sit with calm superiority, as if he knows of his beauty. He appears to simply be sitting, letting the world pass him as he marvels at his kingdom.
Absolutely stunning piece. < 333
Oh, thank you. Actually, alot of it depends on what I'm drawing...some days I have all the patience in the world, and other days, I just can't finish the picture fast enough.
And thank you for faving it, by the way.
Dontcha just love those old gnarly trees?
There's an ancient cottonwood about a mile or so from my house, and it has character plus...it's where I've gotten some of my inspiration for character trees.
Thanks, and thank you for faving it.
