He looks rather playful, eh?
I do think, though, that the sword is a teensy little bit off, can't really put my finger on what exactly. Is there something in the foreground which slightly obscures the blade on the left? 'Cause that's what it seems like, maybe it's just my brightness settings.

Otherwise, you've done a good job with this. :D

I think you're right...I could have delineated it a bit more...but when I'm going full bore, sometimes, I overlook the details that are important. =p :)

Thanks! I like to think since there are all kinds of dragons, they'll have different kinds of eyes/skin/body shape etc. The sword was something else...I'm rather weaponly challenged. :D

Thank you. :) Actually, as I paint these, I feel like if I can paint a scaleless dragon and make him look 3d, a scaled dragon should become easier...weird logic, I know....:D

I really love how realistic you make mythological creature appear... It's almost as if this is a photograph and not a painting...:D

Thank you! Really! I've painted reality, as it were for so long, painting fantasy in reality has been a tremendous blast. And cathartic to a degree. :)

I love it.....I awlways love your dragons, I already told you I think they are so original but "medieval-looking" at the same time. And with this wonderful color style, it's just perfect...
I especially love this glowing emerald green eye.
I also find interresting the textures on the rock..
Nice work, really..

You think so on the dragon? I know I should have added more coins, and even thought of adding a helmet or something...well, when I have the time...but thanks for pointing that out.
And thanks for faving it. :)

WE-elll, it depends. One day, I want to do a scaled dragon with scales that are irridescent. Nothing like setting myself an impossible goal...:O :D I have to learn how to do irridescence first...=p

Hehe. :) Yeah, irridescence is one of those things I kinda cringe at when I think about tackling it.
