His most prized possession by Hagge His most prized possession by Hagge
Of course, right in the middle of this one, the other Muse comes up with another version...!
(I wish these guys would get their acts together......listen to them, arguing over in the corner about which one will work better...you'd think they've got better things to do...:X )
I'm fine...really....:)

Version II to come out later....maybe....!

Holy crap that is so freaky looking. In a good way. I love the detail you added to the scales and the lighting that reflects off them and the sword. Plus the title of the picture goes with the actual image so well and it makes you think of all the meanings and stories behind it.
Truly a well made and thoughtful picture! *faves for sure* EPICLY DONE! ;D

I love all the colors mottled together in the skin. If I had tried that it would have looked like a clown factory explosion... but yours just looks fantastic and so realistic! Can't wait to see the other version if your muses are up to it! ^^

*Wahh!*
I mean 'Thank you'. I wish I could describe how distracting it really is. Because with the second idea, I might suddenly lose initiative for the first picture until I at least start the second. And it's just easier to blame the Muses. :D

Aww, what a great sword! I could never draw swords very well, I just can't design one that looks good.
[your description is a mystery, heh].

Thank you. I actually like swords and daggers, myself...I've seen some almighty gorgeous ones, a time or two :O...*makes you wonder if they ever actually use them in battle*

(my description?...you mean the title? :? )

I think that those that owned swords like that one weren't the ones that actually battled XD What did they have money for?
(No, I meant that part -

Good point. :) To get more money, I guess. :D

Oh...'s like I was explaining one other time; in the middle of a piece of art work, another idea will occur for the same picture style/title and it's such a strong impulse, I sometimes actually lose initiative for the first picture until I at least start the second. And it's just easier to blame it on the Muses of inspiration. :)

Oh thanks. Yeah, I should just break down and start looking up stock for some of my pictures. Imagination only takes one so far when it comes to realism. :)
Thanks for faving it, though. :)

Thanks again. It's not like the one I had in mind originally, but maybe I'll use that concept with the next variation. :)

Well, one of them I got at a sale in a small store in Cripple Creek, a small casino town up in the mountains. It's a small sword. The second one is a Tai Chi sword I got in an asian store in the mall. The third one is a gift from my mother she got in the Philippines. I found out by accident how SHARP that one was...^^;

Some time, I'm going to buy one. I've been eyeing a short sword w/a stand...my problems at this time are a) low funds and b) no place to put it. :( The story of my life.....:X

I know the feeling... There are a couple of swords I want to get but I'm now in the same situation as you...low funds and no place to put them.

Ooooo, I really like this. I might have to +fav it. The colors of the scales are really cool, and I always love a well drawn/illustrated sword. :D
