At close of day by Hagge At close of day by Hagge
Another Submit-and-run. I've tried a slightly different format, and the goat is so small as to be insignificant, but it's there mostly for perspective...this is not a find-the-goat picture. :)

For Sue.

I love the roughness at the centre, separating the two levels of extreme detail. it's a cool effect when scrolling up or down.

Thanks. I personally think the clouds helped though, in making the format succeed.

That and the "height" of it. I usually don't think much about scrolling side/side or up/down on a larger picture, but this really did give it a sort of extra dose of coolness.

Even as a print it would work, though. The contrast of dimensions to other paintings or photos on the wall would have the same effect, IMO.

Well, thank you. :) I always appreciate that.
...the lighting...the lighting...One day, I will CONTROL it. (why do I suddenly feel like The Brain? from Pinky and the Brain...:O)

Any time. :)
:giggle: That is one thing that the Brain ought to have thought of. I think he did do something with art once or twice, but you know how things usually turned out for him.

His focus was probably more in the whole 'evil' side of things though.
