Oh, you should see some of them, sometime. I actually got within 15 yards of one of these guys resting in the sun on a rock...they're no tiny tims.... He acted like he owned the land, and was granting me an audience...just like a cat.
Thank you, very much.
I hope so. The beauty of redoing it in acrylics is the painting will be larger, and there will be more detail in the ice and rocks. (I may also reposition the goat.)
By the way, I see you requested that Unicornsoul's picture be made into a print... Thank you very much for the request, however two things hamper the progress...firstly being it IS Unicornsoul's personal picture...whether or not she wants it made into a print is going to be up to her...secondly, I have to figure out the best way to do prints that won't cost everyone a pretty penny.
Yeah, at one point I was going to put sunlit mountains behind him, but I found it distracted from the ice. And yes, a lighter background would have worked, but I also wanted the focus to be the ice and goat. Well, there's always next time.
Thanks for the suggestion, and thanks for the fav...
